Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar celebrated his 56th birthday on September 9 by visiting the famous Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He was accompanied by his son Aarav while cricketer Shikhar Dhawan was also spotted in the photos that have gone viral.
In photos shared on social media, Akshay Kumar can be seen dressed in a saffron dhoti and folding his hands during the Aarti at the temple. Shikhar Dhawan can also be seen in the photos, wearing a white kurta.

Akshay Kumar is one of the most prolific actors in Bollywood, with over 100 films to his credit. He is known for his action-packed roles, but he has also starred in a number of comedies and dramas.
His latest film, OMG 2, was a box office success, despite clashing with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. He played the character of Lord Shiva’s messenger in the film, also starring Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam.
He recently shared the teaser of his next film, Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue. The film is based on the Raniganj Coalfields collapse of 1989 in West Bengal. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, it also stars Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, and Rajesh Sharma. The film is slated to release on October 6.
