Bollywood actor Gurfateh Pirzada, who has starred in several Dharma Productions’ projects including Netflix film Guilty and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra, was most recently seen in Netflix’s series Class. The series, an Indian adaptation of the Spanish drama Elite, saw him play the role of Neeraj Kumar Valmiki. He reprised the role of Jamie Lorente’s Nano Garcia. While the series is receiving praise for being a good adaptation, Pirzada is enjoying the positive response coming his way. Most recently, Pakistani actress Maya Ali sent him a message praising his work in Class.
Gurfateh Pirzada had a fanboy moment when he received a direct message on Instagram from Maya Ali. She had written, “Hello Mr. Gurfateh. Hope you are doing well. Just finished class and you have performed your character so well and outshined among the whole Class. Keep it up and all good luck on for your future ventures.”
Pirzada responded to her saying, “Oh my god!! Haha. I’m having a total fanboy moment here. I absolutely love what you do too and my mom is a fan haha! I’m pretty sure she has watched all your shows. Thank you so much for this kind message. I am glad you’ve liked my show.”
On the work front, Gurfateh Pirzada was last seen in Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. He will next star in Bedhadak alongside Shanaya Kapoor and Lakshya Lalwani. The film will be helmed by Shashank Khaitan. It is yet to go on floors.
Meanwhile, Maya Ali is a popular star in Pakistan who has been seen in movies like Teefa In Trouble with Ali Zafar, and Parey Hut Luv with Sheheryar Munawar. She is popular in Urdu drama serials and is currently headlining the slice-of-good family drama Yunhi with Bilal Ashraf.
