Bollywood is in the midst of wedding season, as if that weren’t clear enough and the Swara Bhasker, a Bollywood actress, is one of them. Swara, who is well known for having strong ideas, wed activist Fahad Ahmad last month in a low-key civil wedding. The cream of the crop of the nation’s political circles attended the couple’s wedding celebration this week in Delhi. Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Shashi Tharoor, and Jaya Bachchan were all on the guest list, which differentiated the wedding’s guest list from the regular celebrity wedding throng.

During their wedding reception, Swara and Fahad were dressed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Fahad opted for a stylish and understated resham and gold vasli sherwani from the designer line. Swara was the one who brought the energy to the event with a vibrant wedding look. As mentioned by the designers on Instagram, Swara wore “a zardozi marodi ghagra on red georgette, hand-embroidered using tamba tikki multi-coloured resham. A beautiful dupatta crafted with borders and booties is paired with the same.”

Swara chose an orange outfit by designer Hina Kocchar for her mehendi ceremony. Her casual kurta had silver lace decorations all over it to fit the intimate ambience of the pre-wedding ceremony. She added a statement dupatta in the same colour that was embellished with silver zari borders and tiny buttis to boost the appearance. With orange pants that had similar silver embellishments, she completed the outfit. Swara’s choice of accessories complemented the gorgeous kurta outfit. To round off her bridal outfit, the bride chose a set of all-eyes-on-me golden chandelier earrings, a maang tikka, and a statement ring. Her hair and makeup were kept simple with a low bun adorned with flowers, thick lashes, nude lipstick, and delicate, semi-blurred liner. Another appealing aspect of her outfit was her henna-adorned hands and Punjabi juttis.

Swara made sure to raise the fashion standard with each social appearance and event she made during her wedding. Swara donned a Hina Koccha outfit for her Qawali night after serving up several ethnic styles throughout her pre-wedding celebrations. Her most recent costume consisted of a gold bordered dupatta, a deep green velvet kurta, and a velvet salwaar. The velvet kurta gave the combination a vintage twist, while the velvet salwar provided an old-school touch. It seems dazzling because of the golden buttis on the kurta and salwar. Her bright dress is a terrific choice for family get-togethers and pujas at home, but it may also be worn at the wedding reception.

Swara decided to accessorise with a set of golden earrings that went well with the embroidery on her attire. She chose a matte nude lip and a flawless base for her beauty look, leaving her hair open in curls to draw attention to her danglers. She chose to accessorise with a side maang tikka, a nose ring, matching bangles, and a statement ring, which further enhanced her ethnic appearance.
