Bollywood actress Preity Zinta visited a popular temple in Guwahati recently, seeking blessings from the divine. The actress was seen clad in traditional Indian attire, and looked radiant as she visited the Kamakhya temple. Zinta herself gave a sneak peek into her visit with a social media post.
On Saturday morning, Preity took to her verified Instagram handle and dropped a video. The collage video featured the temple, nearby stores, and a pond. The clip also showed Preity receiving a miniature Kamakhya temple replica as a gift from a saint. She also clicked several selfies from inside the temple complex. The diva also added ‘Chariots Of Fire’ by Vangelis as the background music for the reel video.
Captioning the video, the Kal Ho Naa Ho actress wrote, “One of my reasons to go to Guwahati was to visit the famous Kamakhya Devi temple. Even though our flight was delayed for several hours & I was up all night, it all seemed worth it once I entered the temple. I felt such powerful vibrations when I went there & a sense of peace n calm,” followed by a folded hands emoji.

The Soldier actress further added, “These moments of stillness & gratitude make up for all the chaos & judgement around & for this I am grateful. If any of you go visit Guwahati do not miss this incredible temple. You can thank me later. Jai Ma Kamakhya – Jai mata di.”
Reacting to the post, an Insta user wrote, “You are soooooooo beautiful wish you all the luck for the match tooo,” while another commented, “So pious.” Meanwhile, a bunch of them wished her luck for her team, Kings XI Punjab, as the latest season of the IPL (Indian Premier League) started recently.
