Esha Deol, who was enjoying her motherhood, recently returned to the entertainment industry. The actress is gearing up for some interesting projects and recently she opened up about her journey when she made her debut in the industry. Recalling her early memories in Bollywood, Esha revealed that she had a co-star who asked her for marriage and also opened up about how her mother Hema Malini reacted when she broke the news to her. For the unversed, Esha is currently married to businessman Bharat Takhtani.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Esha Deol Takhtani spoke about how during those days, the media reported a lot of linkup rumours about stars. She said that she wouldn’t explain it to anyone that her relationship with the ‘said’ stars were ‘platonic’ and they would rather have a hearty laugh over the gossips being published. On the other hand, the actress also confessed about how a co-star expressed his desire to marry her.
While Esha refrained from naming him, she said, “One of them wanted to get married to me. I am not naming this person, with all due respect, he is a very sweet guy. I had just started out and he said ‘Will get married, stop acting’. I did not know what to do. I came home and told my mom and she was like ‘So sweet’.” She further asserted that she is not in contact with the said star. “He does not want to be friends with me because that broke his heart. But he is a very cute guy,” she concluded.
Esha Deol made her big Bollywood debut alongside as the leading lady in the Aftab Shivdasani starrer Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche (2002) and went on to feature in films like Dhoom, Yuva, Dus, among others. The actress recently also entered the web series genre with the Ajay Devgn starrer Rudra: The Edge of Darkness and Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega.
