In a rather heartwarming note, Abhishek spoke about an instance that occurred soon after the release of LOC: Kargil, when a mother of one of the fallen soldiers came up to director J.P. Dutta and said that even though her son was dead, they were able to enjoy his presence for four more hours through the film. This touched Abhishek’s heart and cemented his belief that actors can change someone’s life through their films.
When asked about his film Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon, he mentioned how he and Hrithik were in the same school together, and how even though Hrithik was a few years senior they had a bond, which is what made it all the more wholesome when they got to share space on the big screen.
He also spoke about working with Shah Rukh Khan calling it ‘fantastic’, and admired his dedication. Abhishek was also all praises for his father Amitabh Bachchan, lauding his sincerity and dedication, especially given his age. He also mentioned that if there was one thing he would like to have from any of his co-stars, it would be his father’s dedication and drive towards his craft.
