Following the release of the second song ‘Nikle The Hum Kabhi Ghar Se’ featuring Sonu Nigam’s vocals, Shah Rukh Khan kicked off December with Dunki Drop 3. Drawn from real-life stories, Dunki is a saga of love and friendship that weaves together wildly disparate stories, providing both hilarious and heart-breaking answers to the challenges faced by its characters. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film’s trailer is arriving next week. Post the song release and creating anticipation for the trailer, Shah Rukh Khan hosted a Q&A session #AskSRK on X, formerly known as Twitter, wherein he answered some fan questions.
DUNKI STORY:
Talking about signing the movie, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Actually hardly anything. Raju and Abhijaat brought it to my knowledge. It’s fascinating….dangerous and quite an overwhelming experience to have learnt about it and portray parts of it. #Dunki.”

Dunki features an ensemble cast, with colourful characters portrayed by exceptionally talented actors Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, along with Shah Rukh Khan. A JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films presentation, produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan. Written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, Dunki is slated to release in December 2023.
