Producer Anand Pandit has backed a number of films in the last less than a decade. Some of these include, Total Dhamaal, PM Narendra Modi, The Big Bull, Chehre, etc. He has also ventured into regional cinema with ventures like Fakt Mahilao Maate, Baap Manus, 3 Ekka, etc. He is also into real-estate business. Later this month on December 21, he would be throwing what is considered the biggest bash of the year to celebrate his 60th birthday and 20 years of his real-estate business.
Anand Pandit’s close friendship with the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is well-known. He has also done films with the iconic star in the form of Sarkar 3, Chehre and Fakt Mahilao Maate. Bachchan is now all set to be the chief guest at the bash thrown by Pandit. Apart from the legendary actor, some big names from the film industry are expected to attend the party.
The producer is, obviously, delighted by this. Sharing his exclusive reaction to Bollywood Hungama on the same, he said, “It has been an honour and a privilege to know Mr Bachchan over a span of 20 years. He was my inspiration even before I met him and today his presence in my life and at this celebration means the world to me. He is not just an icon, but an exemplary person and I am truly honoured that he has agreed to preside over this very special evening as a chief-guest.”
Pandit recently visited Bachchan to invite the latter for the bash. He shared a picture of the same on Instagram and wrote, “I first met him on the silver screen. The ‘Vijay’ of Trishul made me believe in my crazy dreams. Now our deep friendship over the years feels like life has come a full circle. Thank you for accepting to grace my humble gathering. I am honoured @amitabhbachchan Sir.”

On the work front, Bachchan will next be seen Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.
