Sara Ali Khan debuted in 2018 and has proved to be a fine talent. Now, her younger brother Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to rock the silver screen. The siblings have been in the news even before they signed their films. Sara looks very much like her mother, Amrita Singh, while Ibrahim seems like the younger version of Saif Ali Khan. During an interaction with Mayank Shekhar of Mid-Day, Sara Ali Khan spoke about this aspect and also opened up on her association with Ibrahim.
Sara Ali Khan surprised everyone as she tendered an apology on camera to Ibrahim Ali Khan. She said, “We lived with a single mother and the dynamic was not sibling-like. I should maybe take this moment to maybe apologize to Ibrahim for trying to mother him overtly.” She also added, “Ibrahim has grown up with two mothers.”
Sara was asked if Ibrahim would come to her for advice since she has been an actor for almost six years while he’s starting out. She replied, “He does come to me for advice but I go to him for advice more often. I think he’s a solid guy (smiles).”
She continued, “I tend to be his mother and I am like ‘Aise karo, waise karo’. But he’s the giver of advice. He’s much more sorted than me. And more mature for sure. I am smart but he’s really smart.”
Ibrahim Ali Khan, as per reports, will be seen in Sarzameen. It is directed by Boman Irani’s son Kayoze and is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It also stars Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
In this interview, Sara Ali Khan also said that her mother Amrita Singh is politically incorrect just like her character in Arjun Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer 2 States (2014). Moreover, Sara revealed that between her mother and father Saif Ali Khan, she always took her father to a PTA meeting. She further said her teacher often shared her admiration and said, “The teacher’s like, ‘Oh, she’s amazing’.”
