The much-awaited Hotstar Specials’ Taaza Khabar is back with its season 2 streaming exclusively on September 27, 2024 on Disney+ Hotstar. Produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam under the banner of BB Ki Vines Productions and Directed by Himank Gaur, the series also stars the veteran actor Jaaved Jaaferi along with Shriya Pilgaonkar, Prathamesh Parab, Deven Bhojani and Shilpa Shukla in prominent roles among others.

When asked why she wasn’t playing the reel daughter in her parent’s recent film, she exclaimed how she was shooting for Taaza Khabar season 2 but was intricately involved in her parents’ film.
Talking on the same, Shriya Pilgaonkar said, “I was shooting for Taaza Khabar, that’s the real answer! Additionally, I helped behind the scenes a lot, and there was an important reason why that film was shot at that time. I have been involved in it in many ways.”
