Ananya described, “With CTRL and Call Me Bae coming out, I feel that people are finally taking me a lot more seriously as an actor. I shot both the projects last year, so this year has been all about watching the fruits of my labor come to life.”
Ananya Panday, now 26, shared that 2024 has brought her a newfound sense of comfort in her own skin. Reflecting on her early struggles, she expressed how she’s embraced herself over the years.
The actress, who has recently starred in films tackling contemporary issues like the impact of social media and AI expansion, also discussed the evolving nature of stardom. She believes that today’s definition of being a star goes beyond just box-office hits. “Stardom isn’t just about Friday releases in cinemas anymore,” she explained. “It’s extended with the rise of new mediums.”
