Kareena Kapoor Khan recently turned heads with her elegant and traditionally rooted festive attire for a family Diwali celebration, perfectly embodying the spirit of a relaxed, yet glamorous, “Ghar Wali Diwali.” Styled by Rhea Kapoor and Shereen Lovebug, the actress chose a stunning outfit titled ‘PALASH’ from the artisanal label Tokree Shop Jaipur. The ensemble, priced at Rs 70,800, seamlessly blended contemporary style with traditional Rajasthani craftsmanship.

The striking outfit is a powder blue silk lehenga and blouse set, offering a cool contrast to the traditional festive colour palette.
The Lehenga and Blouse: The blouse features a deep V-neck and is adorned with intricate gota patti embroidery and bootas on the hem, sides, and sleeves. A delicate red piping provides a delightful contrast. The lehenga skirt is elevated by golden lines and a broad lappa (border) on the hem, adding a touch of opulent elegance.
The Dupatta: Complementing the set is a dupatta featuring intricate jaal work of golden sitara (sequins) and cut dana scattered all over. The addition of decorative laces on all four sides ties the ensemble together, exuding luxury and sophistication.

The actress recently began shooting for acclaimed director Meghna Gulzar’s next film, the crime drama titled Daayra.
