2025 has come to a close and it has ended on a high, what with Dhurandhar scoring yet another double digit day. It has been all Dhurandhar ever since the film arrived on December 5 and it will continue to be like that till the arrival of Border 2. The film is being watched by one and all and that was evidenced on Wednesday as well when it ended up collecting Rs. 12.40 crores more.
This makes it 27 days in a row when the film has collected in double digits. In fact, for the longest time the Aditya Dhar film was actually bringing in more than Rs. 20 crores on every day and its only in the last few days that it had found itself in the whereabouts of Rs. 10 crores. Had these been the kind of collections in the first week for a biggie then even that would have been considered good and here the Ranveer Singh led ensemble affair is doing that in its fourth week, which is just unprecedented and unexpected.
There is so much more that’s yet to come for the film since today is the first day of the New Year when most of the establishments have a holiday. This means a jump is round the corner and Rs. 13-14 crores more should come in today. Then there is Friday which is actually sandwiched between the New Year and the weekend, which means the film has an actual chance to continue collecting in double digits, and then Saturday and Sunday would arrive which means another bountiful weekend on the cards for Dhurandhar. With Rs. 766.90 crores in its kitty so far, the film will enter the 800 Crore Club in its fifth weekend.
