Rumours about trouble in the marriage of Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have been circulating online for some time. Their daughter Tina Ahuja has now addressed the speculation, acknowledging that the last few years have been challenging for the family.
Tina spoke about the situation during a special moment in Sunita’s Women’s Day vlog, where she surprised her mother with flowers, gifts and a solitaire ring. In the video, Tina said she had decided to “hijack” the vlog to celebrate her mother and do something meaningful for her.
“Us women do a lot for others and we don’t think about ourselves. So, I thought of doing something special for my woman.”
While speaking about her family, Tina also hinted that things have not been smooth recently. Addressing the rumours indirectly, she admitted that the past two years have been difficult.
“Two years have not been great. There has been turbulence.”
Even as speculation around the couple’s marriage continues, Tina focused on appreciating her mother and the many responsibilities she has handled over the years. The vlog captured an emotional moment between the two as Tina expressed her love and gratitude.
Sunita also reflected on her own journey and spoke about reaching a stage in life where she wants to focus more on herself. After years of fulfilling responsibilities towards family, she said she now wants to live life on her own terms.
“Everything must be done in a limit… I have done all my duties but at this point, I have started living for myself.”
She further added that she now plans to prioritise her own happiness.
“Now I will live my life king size.”
Govinda and Sunita have been married for decades and share two children, Tina and Yashvardhan. Over the years, their relationship has occasionally been in the spotlight, but the couple has largely kept their personal life private. Tina’s recent remarks, however, have drawn attention as they come amid ongoing rumours about trouble in their marriage.
