Babil Khan is currently in one of the busiest phases of his career, working across multiple projects in films and streaming. Having recently wrapped Darjeeling, the actor has moved on to shooting an upcoming OTT series and is also preparing for his South Indian film debut.
Known for choosing unconventional and performance driven roles, Babil has built a filmography that prioritises storytelling. His latest slate of projects adds to his profile as one of the industry’s young actors to watch.
Speaking about this phase, Babil Khan said, “I’m grateful to be at a stage where I get to wake up every day and do what I truly love. Every project I’m working on is so different from the other, and that’s what excites me the most as an actor. Whether it’s Darjeeling, the OTT series, or my South film debut, each one is pushing me to explore new emotions and perspectives. It’s definitely a busy phase, but it’s also one of the most fulfilling periods of my journey so far. I’m learning something new every single day, and I couldn’t have asked for more.”
Post production on Darjeeling is currently underway. Babil has meanwhile shifted focus to an upcoming OTT series, where he is playing another distinct character.
His South Indian film debut marks another addition to his filmography, extending his work beyond Hindi cinema and reflecting his willingness to take on stories across languages.
With Darjeeling complete, an OTT series in progress and his South debut ahead, further details on cast, crew and release dates for these projects are yet to be announced.
