Blackpink’s Jisoo is all set to launch her solo career this year! The singer has finally revealed the launch date and first teaser poster for her much-awaited solo debut.
On March 6, Jisoo officially announced that her upcoming solo release is set to drop on March 31. Jisoo announced the release date with a first teaser poster titled, “Coming Soon.” Jisoo’s agency YG Entertainment previously shared in late February that the singer was filming abroad for her music video. Prior to that, Jisoo and YG Entertainment revealed that the Blackpink singer would be launching her solo career in 2023.

Jisoo had earlier shared on the fan community platform Weverse that she would be releasing her solo album. The agency later confirmed the news and shared that Jisoo had already shot concept photos for the album and added that the singer “worked on music production whenever she got the time” while on the group’s ongoing Born Pink world tour.
After Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, Jisoo will become the fourth and final member of the group to release her solo music. Meanwhile, Blackpink is all set to perform as one of the headliners at Coachella in the U.S. in April and at the British Summer Time (BST) Hyde Park in London, United Kingdom in July.
