Amitabh Bachchan applauds Rohit Sharma after India’s victory over England

Amitabh Bachchan has praised Rohit Sharma for his recent performance against England. The Indian captain scored 119 runs on Sunday in Cuttack, securing India’s victory in the 2nd ODI. Following the win, Big B took to his blog to appreciate Rohit for silencing his critics.

Amitabh Bachchan, wrote in his blog, “The feet we stand on .. the ground it covers .. the distances it is used for .. and at the end of day, when it has been given a massage, is the realisation what has been missed all these years.”

He stated, “A slight fade in the main event, but the courageous beating given to the Brits in Cricket .. simply incredible ..The best way to silence criticism is to perform beyond expectation .. and Rohit did just that.”

Amitabh further added, “The bheja (brain) is an instrument of unlimited capacity… the largest data bank ever invented… even in its saturated state, it has room for another saturation… IT and AI and VR and AR… the takeovers and the conquerors of the universe… the generation of the day chooses the above and independently, beyond the parents advice… What a wonderful world we all live in… I move to dream now.”

Amitabh Bachchan, who often shares his thoughts through his blog, recently posted a throwback picture from the day Abhishek was born to wish his son a happy birthday. The black-and-white photo showed Big B standing in a hospital maternity ward, surrounded by nurses, with newborn Abhishek in an incubator. Along with the picture, he wrote an emotional note: “And tonight shall be a latish night .. Abhishek turns 49 .. and his new year shall be brought in .. Feb 5, 1976 .. Time has passed rapidly .. !!!!”

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati. The Bollywood superstar has been the face of the show since its inception in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
