The much-awaited gangster romance O’Romeo hit theatres on February 13, and early reactions from the film fraternity have begun surfacing online. Among the first to share her thoughts was Mira Rajput, who penned an emotional note for her husband Shahid Kapoor following a special screening.

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film stars Shahid alongside Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Vikrant Massey, and Tamannaah Bhatia. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the narrative draws inspiration from a chapter in Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi, centring on gangster Hussain Ustara and Sapna Didi.
Mira Rajput’s First Reaction
Ahead of the theatrical release, a special screening was organised for members of the film fraternity. Sharing her review on Instagram, Mira praised the film’s craft and performances.
She described Vishal Bhardwaj as a “genius of finesse” and lauded the background score. Applauding Triptii Dimri’s performance, she wrote that the actor embodied her character with “ferocity and innocence.” She also complimented Nana Patekar and called Tamannaah Bhatia “ethereal.”
In a heartfelt note dedicated to Shahid Kapoor, Mira wrote, “Shahid Kapoor, my Romeo, your best yet. Not a beat that missed.” She later shared candid photographs with the actor, expressing her pride and encouraging audiences to watch the film in theatres.

Because what holds you is the light. Destiny’s child. It’s time to shine. Spectacular is an understatement. I am so proud of you. O’ROMEO now in Theatres!”
