Netflix has officially announced Maamla Legal Hai Season 2, which is set to premiere on the platform this year. The courtroom comedy is returning with the familiar madness of Patparganj Court, promising big laughs and even bigger twists.
The new season will see Ravi Kishan returning as V.D. Tyagi, but this time in a new avatar. With a fresh aura and a new personality, Tyagi will be seen navigating the realities of his new role, while the chaos of Patparganj Court continues as the lawyers deal with bizarre cases, unusual clients and everyday courtroom drama. The upcoming season is also described as “satya durghatnaon par aadharit” (based on true incidents).
The makers shared that the response to the first season was overwhelming, and with Season 2, they are excited to return to Patparganj with the same set of lawyers. The upcoming season will feature bigger cases, new faces and even more outrageous situations, while the humour and chaos are expected to be sharper than before.
Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 is created by Saurabh Khanna, Kunal Aneja and Sameer Saxena, with Sameer Saxena serving as executive producer and showrunner. The series is directed by Rahul Pandey and written by Kunal Aneja, Syed Shadan, Mohak Aneja and Tatsat Pandey. It is produced by Posham Pa Pictures. The cast includes Ravi Kishan, Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grrewal, Anant Joshi, Anjum Batra, Kusha Kapila and Dinesh Lal Yadav. Netflix has also dropped the official teaser for the upcoming season, further building excitement ahead of its 2026 release.
