Ajith Kumar, who is currently juggling between two films, is expected to give a special surprise to his fans very soon. It is being reported that the Tamil superstar is in talks with KGF filmmaker Prashanth Neel and not for just one film but two. If all goes well audiences will get to witness this massy combo of Ajith Kumar and Prashanth Neel come together for a magnum opus. What is even more exciting is that, the deal also hints at a major collaboration which points out towards Ajith joining the KGF franchise.
According to a DT next report, sources have revealed that the two of them are currently in talks for these films wherein they were expected to be discussing the details like the shoot schedule etc. A source revealed that the duo will be kicking off a massy entertainer first and said, “Ajith and Prashanth had a meeting during Vidaa Muyarchi schedule break last month. Prashanth has asked over three years of Ajith’s time. Their first collaboration, which could be AK 64, will be a standalone project. This will go on floors in 2025 and release in 2026″.
The source also mentioned about Ajith Kumar and Prashanth Neel collaborating on another film which will be a part of the KGF universe. While it is a known fact that KGF is a franchise, it is also known that the filmmaker is keen on creating an action universe of sorts, followed by the stupendous success the films garnered. If all goes well, the source has hinted at Yash and Ajith Kumar coming together in KGF 3. The source opened up about the same and was quoted sharing, “The climax of the second film will lead to KGF 3 and Ajith’s character is touted to be the biggest of them all in Prashanth Neel Cinematic Universe”.
Meanwhile, sources close to Ajith Kumar have denied the news and asserted that it is not true. As of now, the actor is gearing for the release of his highly awaited film Vidaa Muyarchi which is expected to release this year. Along with that, the actor has also kicked off the shoot of Good Bad Ugly which is said to be in the pipeline for release next year.
