In a throwback picture, Dharmendra can be seen embracing Shah Rukh as he hands him an award at an event. The bond between the two icons of Bollywood was evident in the photo, with both smiling warmly for the camera.
Dharmendra’s Heartfelt Message for Shah Rukh Khan
Dharmendra, who often shares his love for fellow actors on social media, called Shah Rukh Khan his “son” in the post. Expressing gratitude for his life’s blessings, he wrote, “Bete hi hain ye sab… Maalik ka hamesha ehsaanmand hoon iss muqaddar ke liye.” The image, which showed Dharmendra holding Shah Rukh close at the award ceremony, quickly became a favorite among fans. While the heartwarming post has been winning hearts online, Dharmendra has also been active on the big screen. He recently appeared in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a Karan Johar film starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Dharmendra played the role of Ranveer’s grandfather, a character married to Jaya Bachchan but still longing for his unfulfilled love with Shabana Azmi’s character.
Dharmendra was also seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Shahid Kapoor. He is now gearing up for his next film Ikkis, where he will be seen with Jaideep Ahlawat and Agastya Nanda.
As for Shah Rukh Khan, the actor has a busy slate ahead. After his recent success in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, Shah Rukh is now preparing for Sujoy Ghosh’s King, where he will reportedly share screen space with his daughter, Suhana Khan. According to reports, Shah Rukh will portray a notorious underworld figure in the film, which is co-produced by his Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures.
