Background on Ikkis
Produced by Maddock Films under Dinesh Vijan, Ikkis is directed by Sriram Raghavan and co-written by Raghavan, Arijit Biswas, and Pooja Ladha Surti.
The film chronicles the life of Arun Khetarpal, the young soldier who was martyred at the age of 21 during the Battle of Basantar in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Khetarpal was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, becoming the youngest recipient of the honour at that time.
Alongside Agastya Nanda and Dharmendra, the cast also features Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikander Kher.
