Filmmaker Aditya Dhar, one of the most talked-about directors in the industry at the moment, celebrated his birthday on March 12, 2026. Marking the occasion, actor and wife Yami Gautam Dhar took to social media to share a heartfelt note along with two candid photos of the couple.
In the pictures, the couple can be seen sharing warm moments together — one taken during a workout session and another captured during a scenic outdoor outing. Sharing the photos, Yami penned a short but affectionate caption that read, “If only there were enough words to describe what you mean to me…To my one & only, Aditya !!! Happy Birthday, love

The post quickly drew attention from friends and colleagues from the film industry. Actor Aahana Kumra commented, “Happiest birthday @adityadharfilms sir!

Meanwhile, Aditya Dhar is currently gearing up for the release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Coinciding with his birthday, the makers unveiled the first track from the sequel titled ‘Aari Aari’. The film is slated to hit theatres on March 19, while the first instalment of the franchise will re-release in cinemas on March 13.
Earlier, the sequel was expected to clash with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups, starring Yash. However, the makers of the film decided to postpone its release due to the ongoing Middle East crisis. As a result, Dhurandhar: The Revenge will now face a box office clash with Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and jointly produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Akshaye Khanna. Notably, Akshaye Khanna’s character had died in the first part of the franchise. Reports also suggest that Yami Gautam Dhar will be seen making a cameo appearance in the sequel.
