Actor Bobby Deol’s latest film Bandar has finally arrived in cinemas, and among its earliest supporters was his half-sister, Esha Deol. The actress attended a special screening of the Anurag Kashyap directorial in Mumbai on June 4 and later took to social media to express her admiration for Bobby’s performance.
Esha’s heartfelt message has attracted attention online, especially given the growing warmth between the Deol siblings in recent years. The public has witnessed a noticeable shift in the relationship between Sunny and Bobby Deol and their half-sisters Esha and Ahana Deol, with the family increasingly coming together for special occasions and milestones.
Following the screening of Bandar, Esha shared a photograph featuring Bobby Deol and his wife Tanya Deol on Instagram. Along with the picture, she showered praise on her brother and encouraged audiences to watch the film. “You are in the best form ever! Undoubtedly the finest actor today. Enduring and vulnerable! Way to go, bhaiya,” Esha wrote.
She also urged moviegoers to support the film in theatres, adding, “Go watch Bandar!”
Bobby later re-shared Esha’s post on his Instagram Stories, acknowledging her support.
The post comes at a time when Bobby is enjoying one of the strongest phases of his career. Over the past few years, the actor has earned praise for reinventing himself through a series of unconventional roles across films and streaming platforms. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Bandar is a crime thriller produced by Nikhil Dwivedi under the banner Saffron Magicworks. The screenplay has been written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, known for their work on acclaimed projects such as Paatal Lok, Kohrra and Udta Punjab.
The film features Bobby Deol in the lead role alongside Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Indrajith Sukumaran, Raj B. Shetty and Jitendra Joshi.
