The much-anticipated release of the film Jawan has taken the Indian film market by storm. After creating a furore with its teasers, images, and songs, the advance booking for the film has been doing rather well in its advance booking sales. Now just a day before the release, it seems like the advance booking for the Shah Rukh Khan starrer has picked up tremendous pace.
In this report, we look at the advance booking of Jawan while comparing the same to the previous releases that enjoyed massive advance booking sales. Managing to sell a staggering 391,000 tickets as of Wednesday 10.15 am, Jawan has seen the fifth all-time highest advance booking sales. Surprisingly, the film, which has been enjoying an incredible trending, comes just behind previous releases like Baahubali 2: The Conclusion that sold 650,000 tickets followed by Pathaan which sold 556,000 tickets, KGF – Chapter 2, which sold 515,000 tickets and War that managed to sell 410,000 tickets. Interestingly, these advance bookings are just across the national multiplex chains for the film’s first day alone.
Currently, Jawan is set to open on a thunderous note, with trade predicting an opening day collection of around the Rs. 70 crores mark. While it remains to be seen whether the film surpasses these expectations, the industry and the audience are in for a treat.
